The cuisine ranges from Northwest to German, Lebanese and Italian fare. Art lovers can shop the 40 fine artists from California, Idaho, Wash ington & Oregon. “Our goal is to create a rich cul tural and artistic environment, a palate from which people can sample and hear great music, drink a nice Northwest wine, purchase a piece o f art, and just immerse themselves in an arts-rich weekend,” said Dr. John Hammond Friday, Aug. 27 and runs through Sunday, Aug. 29 at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver. This year’s Festival features a diverse lineup o f American “jazz l e g e n d s ”— in c lu d in g b lu es, fu sio n , C aju n , straight ahead and con temporary bands.
